Job Title: Construction & Drylining Supervisor

Location: London

We are an established construction & drylining company dedicated to delivering top-quality interior solutions and a wide range of construction & drylining services across London, South East England and Wales. With a strong commitment to professionalism, reliability, and meticulous craftsmanship, we cater to a diverse range of clients. To support our ongoing operations, we are looking for a Construction & Drylining Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the site safety culture, ensure all works are carried out in planned, controlled and safe manner in accordance with statutory regulations, current standards and company health, safety, environmental and quality standards;

  •        Manage the trade contractors including the production of works to drawings and specifications, manage performance on site;

  •        Oversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements for the contract;

  •        Regularly inspect works for compliance with design, and specifications, and ensure all design solutions offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project requirements;

  •        Oversee the complete operation on the site/sites from commencement to completion;

  •        Order all materials in conjunction with the material schedule and site programme/ design changes consult with QS and site agent;

  •        Ensure site programmes are maintained and adhered too;

  •        Ensure you have a strong labour force with open and clear communication, build good relationships and look after good labour;

  •        Follow and adhere to all H&S legislation;

  •        Ensure site labour adheres to H&S PPE and site rules;

  •        Sign off purchase invoices on a weekly basis, check quantities, be commercially aware when placing orders;

  •        Be proactive and able to resolve disputes.

Requirements:

•        Construction related qualification to HNC level.

•        Suitable experience as a Construction Supervisor on similar size, and type, projects for a tier 1 main contractor preferred

•        Have strong technical competence

•        Must be able to handle a large volume of calls each day

•        Must have strong managerial, organisational, client facing, and communication skills

•        Maintain a professional positive and smart appearance, build relationships with our clients representatives

•        Have a valid CSCS card

•  Preferably a driving licence

Salary: £33,400 per annum

Work Location: In person, on-site.

Work hours: 37.5 hours per week
